The time has come the Walrus said to think of reciprocity
The lack of water, all this sand, gives rise to a necessity
The fish have gone, the salt is speeding up their sure mortality
For any life that struggles on, there is a strange dichotomy
To take or leave with no desire for self-responsibility
And then to say, perish the day that blunted sensibility
----------------------------
O let us weep , my friend, the only water given us
Illustrates to what a state their greedy minds have driven us
O let us weep my friend, at all the sand and paucity
Gives evidence of serious lack of hope of productivity
----------------------------
Drinking sand and breathing dust is noone's view or policy
The powers that be still demonstrate remarkable tenacity
Their fingers crumble as they write, from want of true sagacity
Their scheming built on nothing more than sand's collapsibility
They squabble over empty words but haven't the capacity
To clear it up, the sea itself has lost its viability
----------------------------
O let us weep , my friend, the only water given us
Illustrates to what a state their greedy minds have driven us
O let us weep my friend, at all the sand and paucity
Gives evidence of serious lack of hope of productivity
----------------------------
Towards the skies we turn our eyes in search of immortality
On ships of hope and fools we launch ourselves into infinity
To start anew in worlds so pure to pierce their virginity
Too bad we didn't leave behind our violence and our vanity
Our hate and greed our wars, our religions are insanity
Despite our best attempts to give our species durability
We are a mere droplet in the ocean of eternity
----------------------------
O let us weep , my friend, let's sink into banality
With all these quantities of sand, there is no rationality
O let us weep , my friend, let's kill originality
To save our hopes and dreams we must reduce our visibility
